MIYA MINUTE August 2016 "A New Home"
August 15, 2016 was a big day in the history of Grace International School, home to 550 students that represent 350 missionary families serving in 24 countries and reaching out to millions of people in Southeast Asia. After 16 years in one location, GIS moved 5km away to a temporary facility. Everything changed and yet as you can see in the video, nothing has changed and we are blessed to God be the glory!

Chiangmai Christian Fellowship (CCF)
It is with great joy that we share with you that Tom has been asked to serve as Pastor of Family and Youth for Chiangmai Christian Fellowship (CCF) in Chiang Mai, Thailand! It truly is a great fit for Tom and the types of ministry that he loves to do. We have a deep love for the missionary families in Chiang Mai. This position will allow us to come alongside their families to encourage them in all of the exciting Gospel work that is happening in Thailand and all over Southeast Asia.
Here is some info about CCF and its parent organization, Family Connection Foundation (FCF): CCF is an International Church ministering to expats (mostly fulltime Christian workers) who live and work in Chiangmai. The primary focus of ministry at CCF is inward – that is, building up the body of Christ who worship together, and seeking to be a community of believers who bring glory and worship to God through Gospel centered life and relationships. FCF is a recognized Thai Social Foundation that works to show in tangible ways, God’s love to Thai people – often to the poorest and most needy parts of Thai society. FCF, thus, functions as the outreach arm of CCF, with the goal of bringing Christ’s love to Thai people through the ministry of the Word and the ministry of Mercy.

Please join us in thanking God for this wonderful opportunity and partnership!

A Thank you and a video close to our hearts
It has been said missionary work is a lot like going into a well to save a child who has fallen in. Whether you're going into the well, or holding the rope, you are both critical to success.
Thank you all for holding the rope.
We hope to post more pictures of our year in Chiang Mai over the next few days but for now, here is that video.
